There are so many beautiful wedding venues in New Hampshire, from orchards and farms, to inns tucked away in the mountains, but this type of venue isn’t ideal for everyone. For those looking for something a little more offbeat, here are seven unique New Hampshire wedding venues to look at for your big day.
Seacoast Science Center – Odiorne Point State Park, Rye
Odiorne Point was one of my favorite places to go on a hike when I lived in Hampton – the whole place is beautiful trails and stunning ocean views. Within the state park, is a science center, which educates the public on marine life, but also hosts events. Events can be held in the historic stone Sugden house, or in a tent overlooking the ocean. Truly a venue worth checking out!
Hobbs Tavern, West Ossippee
Brewery may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a wedding location, but this NH venue will certainly change your mind. Their private function room, located in a newly renovated 1885 suspension barn, mixes rustic and industrial styles for a truly unique aesthetic. Plus, we haven’t even talked about the amazing food and beer!
McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center
If you or your future spouse is a science or space fan, then the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is a unique New Hampshire Wedding venue you won’t want to skip! Guests have access not only to the reception room, but also the exhibit halls, function rooms, observatory and even the planetarium.
Ice Castles, Lincoln
This venue is essentially a massive manmade ice sculpture. While they don’t do weddings, you could likely elope there with a tiny party, and they frequently host bridal photo shoots. The venue is seasonal (obviously), so be sure to contact them far in advance to book a date.
New Hampshire Audubon Society – Auburn, Concord & Hebron
Nature lovers will be quite at home at any of the Audubon Society’s New Hampshire locations. The scenic locales offer incredible photo opportunities and you and your guests will love the serene environment. Whether you have an intimate group invited, or 200 attendees, the Audubon Society provides a unique New Hampshire wedding venue that will work with you.
NH State Parks
The state parks in New Hampshire offer endless photo opportunities and a gorgeous setting that’s perfect for any nature loving couple. The parks offer pavilions with varying types of amenities and capacities, though all are beautiful and perfect for those looking for unique New Hampshire wedding venues for their big day.
Currier Museum of Art, Manchester
Even if you aren’t crazy about art, you’ll love the stunning architecture the Currier Museum has to offer. Enjoy the fantastic collection of art, and say “I do” in this gorgeous location. As far as unique New Hampshire wedding venues go, this one’s hard to beat.
